Erik Schultink has had a long and successful career in the tech industry. In 2004, they worked as a software engineer at Facebook, where they developed in PHP and JavaScript. In 2005, they co-founded Essembly, a political social network, which was acquired by Philotic Inc in 2006. From 2007 to 2010, they were the CTO of Tuenti, where they grew the engineering department from 4 to 100+ engineers and scaled the service to support 800k concurrent users. In 2012, they became a board member at ReviewPro, which was acquired by Shiji Group for $30M in 2017. Since 2016, they have been a co-founder of Worklytics, a workplace data processing and analytics platform, and is part of the Y Combinator W18 batch.
Erik Schultink graduated from Harvard University in 2007 with a AB in Computer Science MBB. Since 2018, they have been enrolled in Y Combinator.
