Heidi Kozlowski has extensive work experience in the field of education. Heidi currently serves as the San Jose/Evergreen Valley District Academic Senate President at the San José - Evergreen Community College District. Prior to their current role, Heidi worked at San Jose City College as an English Department Faculty member and later as the Distance Education Coordinator. Heidi also served as an Instructional Technologist at the same institution.
Heidi's career began at Lewis & Clark Community College, where they worked as an English Instructor. Heidi then went on to work as an English Instructor in Nishinomiya, Japan, before joining Mission College as an ESL Instructor. Additionally, Heidi served as a Commissioner and Chair for the Santa Clara International Exchange Committee.
Heidi Kozlowski has a Bachelor's degree in English Language and Literature, General from Washington State University, which they obtained between the years 1986 and 1991. Heidi later pursued a Master's degree in Linguistics/ESL at the University of Idaho from 1992 to 1994. Heidi then went on to earn another Master's degree in Instructional Technology from San Jose State University between 2000 and 2002. In 2006 and 2007, Heidi pursued further studies and obtained a Master of Arts (MA) degree in Philosophy from San Jose State University. Heidi also participated in graduate professional development at Fresno Pacific University from 2008 to 2014.
