Akindele Afolabi has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of human resources and career consulting. Akindele began their career in 2004 as a Consultant at Workforce Management Centre Limited, where they played a key role in managing a team that oversaw thousands of employees working for various organizations.

In 2007, Afolabi worked at Intercontinental Bank Plc and Interontinental Bank in HR executive roles, focusing on compensation and benefits. Akindele then joined UBA in 2008 as an HR Business Partner, where they contributed to the establishment of UBA Plc in other African countries and conducted staff competency assessments during a financial crisis.

Returning to Workforce Group in 2010, Afolabi held positions as Group Head of Human Resource & Business Process and Head of Talent Intelligence Group. In these roles, they led strategic business initiatives, managed client engagements, and developed work processes and market penetration strategies.

In 2015, Afolabi became the Principal Partner at Career Edge Limited, where they provided career guidance and counseling services to individuals and organizations. Akindele also facilitated career development workshops and helped individuals define their career goals and needs.

In 2017, Afolabi joined Workforce Group again, this time as the Director of Workforce Assessment and Recruitment.
