Karen Oleson has over a decade of experience in the field of human services, currently serving as an Employment Specialist and Career Coach at Workforce Essentials since July 2014. Prior to this role, Karen held the position of Eligibility Counselor at the Department of Human Services in Tennessee from October 2013 to June 2014, where employment ended due to budget cuts. Earlier experience includes working as an Office Manager at Omni Visions from April 2011 to October 2013. Karen Oleson's educational background includes a Master of Science in Human Service Counseling, focusing on Marriage and Family, from Liberty University (2015-2017), a Bachelor's degree in Psychology with minors in Sociology and Criminology from Middle Tennessee State University (2011-2014), an ongoing Master’s degree in Pastoral Counseling/Life Coaching at Liberty University, and an Associate of Science in Psychology from Columbia State Community College.
