Ankesh Sagar has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies and industries. Ankesh began their career at Tata Consultancy Services, where they worked as a Module Lead on a project involving Private Labeled Credit Cards. Ankesh then moved on to Infosys, where they served as a Project Lead, managing a team and overseeing fraud detection systems for a global telecom service provider.
After that, Ankesh joined Wipro Limited as a Marketing Manager, focusing on Open Source and Enterprise Integration. In this role, they developed marketing strategies, conducted market analysis, and generated leads. Ankesh was later promoted to Senior Manager, where they took on additional responsibilities such as thought leadership and managing alliances with product vendors.
Ankesh then transitioned to AppDynamics, where they worked as a Senior Marketing Manager, focusing on Field and Alliances. Here, they contributed to the development and execution of marketing campaigns.
Following their time at AppDynamics, Ankesh returned to Wipro Limited, this time as the Senior Manager of Marketing for the Next Gen Platforms and Open Source Practice. In this role, they continued to develop marketing strategies, drive lead generation, and build partner relationships.
Ankesh's most recent positions include roles at Automation Anywhere and Insider. Ankesh also established media relationships, launched various marketing programs, and organized partner events.
Currently, Ankesh is the Head of Marketing - APJ at Workato, a leading Enterprise Automation Platform. In this role, they are responsible for driving marketing initiatives and raising brand awareness in the Asia-Pacific region.

Ankesh Sagar has a diverse education history. Ankesh completed their Bachelor of Technology (BTech) degree in Mechanical Engineering from Shri G S Institute of Technology & Science from 2001 to 2005. Afterward, they pursued higher education and obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a specialization in Marketing & Operations from Symbiosis Centre For Management and Human Resource Development between 2007 and 2009. In 2014, they attended the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore for an Executive Education Programme on Digital Marketing for Business Growth.
