Guillermo Gette has over a decade of experience in the tech industry. Guillermo began their career in 2006 as a Web Developer at BEBES.NET SRL. In 2008, they moved to Maypun, where they served as a Functional Analyst, PHP Lead Developer and Facebook Application Developer. In 2010, they joined SAP as a Developer in the Business Operations Applications Data & Reporting department. In 2011, they moved to StretchE.com as a PHP Developer and Project Manager. In 2012, they co-founded Starbates and acted as the CTO. Guillermo also worked as Lead Developer at Credit World and Software Engineer at Yahoo!7. In 2015, they joined Expedia, Inc. as a Technical Lead. In 2017, they founded and became the CEO of Workast, a platform that helps teams manage their work and drive results. Workast is currently the #1 independent app on Slack and is actively used by users from companies like IBM, PayPal, Expedia, eBay, Oracle, and Ticketmaster.

Guillermo Gette attended Colegio San Agustin from 2002 to 2006, where they obtained a Bachllerato Comun. Guillermo then attended Instituto Tecnológico de Buenos Aires from 2007 to 2011 to study Industrial Engineering. In 2010, they obtained a Project Manager (PMI) Introduction certification from A.U.B.A. Club de Programadores in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
