Sarah Wilson has over 8 years of experience in business development, sales, and trade services. Sarah began their career in 2012 as a Trade Services Manager at the China-Britain Business Council, where they helped UK companies of all sizes and sectors grow and develop their business in China. Sarah then moved to the Institute of Supply Chain Management as an International Business Development Executive, responsible for creating and implementing the Institute's business development strategy on an international level with an Asia Pacific focus. In 2013, they became a Business Development Manager at Corporate Traveller UK, where they were responsible for creating a portfolio of clients operating globally from the North East and developing and implementing time and cost saving strategies to maximise export growth. In 2015, they joined SaleCycle as an Enterprise Sales Manager (EMEA), working with over 700 enterprise level international brands. In 2017, they became Sales Manager - North East & Yorkshire at Roomex, an award winning corporate hotel booking platform. In 2020, they took on two roles, first as Senior Business Development Manager at Wordnerds and then as Country Manager - UK & Northern Europe at Keepme.ai, a B2B member retention optimisation tool.
Sarah Wilson completed a Master of Arts (MA) in Chinese Studies at the University of Leeds from 2011 to 2012. Prior to this, they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in English Language, Literature and Linguistics from Newcastle University between 2006 and 2009.
