I’m originally from Ohio, USA but am currently based in Scotland. I have not had a traditional path to medcomms by any means, but I am incredibly happy to be part of the monsterverse!

My career up to this point has been a strange mixture of things here, there, and everywhere. I spent ten-ish years in the summer camp industry where I had the opportunity to work with people from all around the world, which took me across the pond many times for visits. I fell in love with Edinburgh and in 2016 I moved here in pursuit of my Masters in Tourism!

While working on my dissertation, I ended up finding a job as a Programme Coordinator with a language school, eventually taking over as the Social Media Manager there.

Fast forward to 2020 where I quickly had to change gears regarding my work, what I wanted to do (as well as residency in the UK – eeek!). Finding a job opening at Word Monster was truly the light at the end of the tunnel! I am so excited to be their Marketing Monster and hope to continue to have a positive impact here.

I am passionate about all things digital and creative and in my spare time, you can find me reading, exploring Scotland, baking, or rewatching everything in the Marvel Universe for the 1000th time!
