Nick Brainsby is a seasoned consultant at Wordley Partnership since January 2024 and has been a partner at Pemberton Capital LLP since 2010, focusing on special situations investing in small and medium-sized UK companies. Brainsby previously worked as an associate in corporate recovery and insolvency at Beachcroft LLP from November 2000 to September 2010, where responsibilities included advising directors and investors on restructurings and distressed transactions. Prior to this, Brainsby served as a policy advisor at the Department of Trade & Industry (Insolvency Service), specializing in corporate insolvency law reform from January 1999 to October 2000. Brainsby began a legal career as a solicitor at Bell Gully between 1989 and 1991. Brainsby holds an Executive MBA with distinction in Finance & Strategy from Bayes Business School, completed between 2006 and 2008.
