Byoungoh Kim has a diverse work experience in the field of software engineering. Byoungoh is currently working as a Senior Software Engineer at Woowa Bros. starting from March 2023. Prior to this, they worked at Greenlabs as a Principal Software Engineer from August 2021 to February 2023, where they developed a cloud-based smart farm management service using AWS IoT. Byoungoh also utilized technologies such as GraphQL, Typescript, Javascript, Node.js, Fastify, Fluentd, Datadog, and Ansible for the project.
Before that, Byoungoh was a Software Engineer at Kakao Mobility from July 2019 to July 2021. Byoungoh then worked at Samsung Electronics as a Senior Engineer from January 2015 to July 2019, where they focused on Internet of Things and Autonomous Driving. At Samsung, they developed sensor data fusion algorithms based on abstracted sensor data.
Byoungoh began their career as a Ph.D. student at KAIST from June 2008 to February 2015. Byoungoh worked on spontaneous service provision with distributed smart objects and developed an adapter chain for executing tasks in the presence of incompatibility among smart objects. Prior to that, they had an internship at ETRI from June 2006 to November 2006, where they researched and analyzed different DHT-based P2P networking systems.

Byoungoh Kim completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Information Technology from the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology from 2003 to 2006. Byoungoh then pursued further education and obtained a Master of Science (MS) degree in Computer Science from the same institute from 2006 to 2008.
