Elham H. Beheshti is a seasoned scientist currently serving as Chief Scientist and Head of Scientific Innovation at the Asbestos and Dust Diseases Research Institute (ADDRI) since May 2023, where the focus is on addressing dust diseases affecting public health. Elham holds an Honorary Affiliate position with the Woolcock Institute of Medical Research as part of the REDI Fellowship, and previously worked as an Investment Analyst at IP Group plc. Academic roles include Lab Head at the University of Technology Sydney and Postdoctoral Research Associate at the University of Sydney, alongside various visiting positions with prestigious institutions. Elham completed a PhD in Experimental Medicine and a MSc in Food Science/Chemistry at The University of British Columbia, following a B.Sc. in Food Science and Technology from Islamic Azad University of Isfahan. Research expertise includes exosome biology and antioxidant activities in fruits, contributing significantly to both academic and public health advancements.
