Billy Kent is a seasoned professional with over two decades of experience in the aerospace and technology sectors, currently serving as the Director of Advanced Technology and New Programs at Woodward, Inc. since 2001. In this role, Billy leads marketing and product line management for the Aircraft Turbine Systems business unit, overseeing strategic roadmapping and product adjacency strategies while managing a team across multiple sites. With a strong background in product line management, including successful M&A activities and the development of cost prioritization tools, Billy has a proven track record in driving revenue growth and securing significant business opportunities. Previous experience includes a systems engineering role at MPC Products Corporation, where Billy directed high-revenue technical proposals and managed complex electromechanical actuator systems. Billy holds an MBA in Organizational Leadership and B2B Marketing from Northern Illinois University and a Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
