Stephanie Schmidt currently serves as an English Second Language Teacher at YWCA Elgin and as President of the Geographic Society of Chicago, where efforts focus on continuing its 125-year legacy through geographic-themed programming. Additionally, Stephanie works as a Substitute Teacher for Woodstock Community Unit School District 200. Previously, a diverse career in various roles at HERE Technologies included positions such as Culture Partner, Senior Learning and Development Specialist, and Senior Location Data Intelligence Analyst. Earlier experiences included working as a Senior Geographic Analyst at Nokia and as a Geographic Analyst at NAVTEQ. Stephanie holds a Bachelor of Arts in Geography from Augustana College and is pursuing a Master of Education in Educational/Instructional Technology at Northern Illinois University.
