Leah Swain currently serves as the Chief Executive of the Woodsmith Foundation, focusing on community support in Scarborough, Redcar and Cleveland, and the North York Moors National Park since April 2021. Prior to this role, Leah led Community First Yorkshire, enhancing rural community life in North Yorkshire from May 2011 to April 2021. Earlier experience includes founding Doris Does Dinner, overseeing operations at Lifelong Learning UK, and working as a Business Consultant at the Sector Skills Development Agency. Leah's career began at the Learning and Skills Council, and Leah also has a background in training administration at the East London Small Business Centre. Leah holds a BA(Hons) in Anthropology from Durham University.
