Barton Durham, M.Ed., LPC, LCDC, is a seasoned mental health professional with extensive experience in counseling and therapy. Currently, Barton serves as the Owner and Clinical Therapist at Avalon Field Counseling Services since March 2022, and as a PHP Therapist at Woodland Springs Behavioral Health since October 2022. Prior to these roles, Barton worked as an Outpatient Therapist at Woodland Springs Behavioral Health from December 2020 to February 2022. Barton has a background in engineering, having retired from ExxonMobil after over 23 years as Tower Lead and Network Engineer. Barton holds a Master of Education in Marriage and Family Therapy/Counseling from Lamar University and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from California State University, Los Angeles. Additional educational experiences include studies at The Art Institutes and Sam Houston State University.
