Gabriel Seawall is an experienced animal care professional currently serving as the Animal Care Manager for Ambassador Animals at Woodland Park Zoo, where management of a team of 12 full-time and 1 part-time keepers is a focus. As the Executive Director and Founder of the Psittacine Welfare Institute, Gabriel oversees various organization projects and budget management while curating widely utilized Animal Care Manuals for AZA-accredited facilities. Previously, as the Animal Care Manager and Curator of Ambassador Animals at St. Louis Aquarium Foundation, Gabriel developed an Institutional Collection Plan and fostered a supportive workplace culture. Earlier experiences include roles at Binder Park Zoo, Cosley Zoo, and two positions at Brookfield Zoo, where Gabriel demonstrated leadership in animal training and care, program development, and staff supervision. Gabriel holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
