Sherien Owida started their work experience in 2016 with a Middle East Marketing Study Abroad Program at Sam Houston State University. In 2018, they joined Woodforest National Bank as a Retail Banker and worked in that role until 2020. From 2020 to 2021, they served as an Assistant Branch Manager at the same company. In 2021, they transitioned to the position of Credit Analyst and held that role until 2022. Currently, they are working as a Credit Analyst II at Woodforest National Bank.

Sherien Owida completed a Bachelor's Degree in Banking and Financial Institutions from Sam Houston State University, which they attended from 2013 to 2018. Sherien then pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on Banking and Financial Institutions at the same university from 2019 to 2021.
