Craig Barsdorff has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Craig is currently working as a Team Lead Software Development at Wonderlabz, where they manage a team of developers and is responsible for building and delivering key projects. Prior to that, they worked at FNB South Africa as a Senior Java Developer, where they contributed to the development of mobile banking apps and mentored team members. Craig also worked at Dariel as a Java Developer, consulting for Standard Bank, and at Internet Filing (Pty) Ltd as a Java Developer, working on financial web-based systems for government use. Earlier in their career, Craig was a Full Stack Developer at IMQS Software, an IT Teacher at Bishop Bavin School, a Software Development Manager at Mayibuye Group, a Software Development Manager and Analyst Programmer at Associated Computer Solutions, an Analyst Programmer at Sealy, and an Application Programmer at Prosol Group. Throughout their career, Craig has gained expertise in technologies such as Java, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, jQuery, SQL, and various development methodologies like Agile and Waterfall.

Craig Barsdorff's education history begins in 1989 when they enrolled at the University of KwaZulu-Natal. Craig pursued a Bachelor's Degree in Fine Arts and completed their studies in 1992. In the following year, 1993, they returned to the University of KwaZulu-Natal to obtain a Higher Diploma of Education.

After a break in their education, Craig pursued a Professional Programming Certificate from Van Zyl & Pritchard (VZAP) from 1998 to 1999, specializing in Computer Software Engineering. In 2003, they obtained a Certificate in Using Linux and Linux Administration from the CTI Education Group.

Additionally, Craig received a Certificate in UniVerse Fundamentals and UniVerse Basic from Ardent in 1999.

Furthermore, in April 2019, Craig obtained the Oracle Certified Associate, Java SE 8 Programmer certification from Oracle.
