Zara Torosyan is a dedicated advocate for gender equality and health, currently serving as the Founder of GirlUp Yerevan and Advocate for Gender Equality at Girl Up, United Nations Foundation since May 2022. In addition to this role, Zara contributes as a volunteer at the Women's Resource Center, Armenian Red Cross Society, and Innovative Solutions for Sustainable Development of Communities NGO, all starting in May 2022. Zara is pursuing education at Yerevan State University from 2022 to May 2026 after completing studies at Yerevan State Medical University named after Mkhitar Heratsi and earning a High School Diploma in Medicine from Heraci High School. Early education was completed at Primary School N51, culminating in a Primary School Diploma.
