Diurka Tavarez is an IT and Operations Manager at the Women's Business Development Council since April 2023, focusing on the management of technological equipment and ensuring seamless connectivity with essential company systems. Previously, Diurka worked at AXA US as a Records Management Specialist from May 2004 to December 2022, where responsibilities included processing record requests, managing a comprehensive management database, and ensuring compliance with data security regulations. Diurka also held positions as a Technical Assistant in the Planning & Zoning Department at Norwalk City Hall and as an Administrative Assistant at Norwalk Community College, gaining valuable experience in records management, administrative support, and customer information handling. Education was completed at West Hill High School and further studies were undertaken at CT State Norwalk.
