Louise Short, MD, MSc, FACOEM, is a seasoned medical leader in health management and consulting with extensive experience across various organizations. Currently a member of WBL (Women Business Leaders of the US Health Care Industry Foundation), Louise also serves as the National Clinical Leader and Partner at Brown & Brown Insurance. As the founder of TravelCoach, a consultancy focused on the health and well-being of business travelers, Louise addresses the unique challenges faced by this demographic. Past roles include partnership at Mercer, medical leadership at Healtways, and Corporate Medical Director at Anthem. Their experience also encompasses medical directorship at UnitedHealth Group and research as a Medical Epidemiologist at the CDC. Louise holds an MD from Tufts University School of Medicine and an MSc in Community Medicine from Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai.
