Dr. Jenny Thompson is an experienced leader in community services and library management, currently serving as the Manager of Library and Community Services at Wollongong City Council since June 2008. In this role, Dr. Thompson drives strategic initiatives, financial sustainability, and stakeholder relationships while enhancing service delivery programs across various community services. Previously, Dr. Thompson held the position of Faculty Director for Human Services, Tourism, and Hospitality at TAFE NSW - Illawarra, where responsibilities included developing training profiles and managing workforce strategies. Dr. Thompson's educational background includes a Bachelor of Social Work (Honours) from the University of New South Wales, a Graduate Diploma in Adult Education from the University of Technology, and a Master of Public Administration (Merit) from the University of Sydney.
