Warren Weeks has a diverse and extensive work experience. Warren began their career at Cree, Inc. in 1995, where they developed silicon carbide materials and blue and green indium gallium nitride LEDs. From there, they held various roles in Permlight Products Inc., Selah Technologies, SCRA, Intrinsic Semiconductor, and Nitronex Corporation, where they were involved in business development, corporate strategy, and M&A activities. In 2012, they founded The Compound Group, LLC, where they focused on financial modeling, market analysis, and business planning. Warren also worked at Hubbell Lighting, where they served as the Director of Innovation & Technology and the Director of Quality & Technical Services. Since 2018, they have been employed at Wolfspeed, first as the Vice President & General Manager of Wolfspeed Materials, and currently as the Vice President of Strategy & Product Marketing. Throughout their career, Warren has achieved significant accomplishments such as doubling top-line revenues, executing long-term wafer supply agreements, and restructuring sales teams for improved customer focus and market reach.
Warren Weeks received a Bachelor of Science in Ceramic Engineering from Clemson University in 1992. Warren then pursued a Master of Science in Materials Science & Engineering from North Carolina State University, which they completed in 1995.
