Johanna Barbosa is an experienced arts educator currently serving as a School and Community Programs Fellow at The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, focusing on the development of arts education programs. In addition, Barbosa works as a Teaching Artist for Arts for Learning Maryland and the Wolf Trap Foundation for the Performing Arts, integrating dance and arts education into curricula for various age groups. Previous roles include dance teacher positions at The Dance Academy of Virginia and Kids In Motion, as well as educator roles in schools, where Barbosa managed curriculum and mentored young students in movement practices. Johanna Barbosa holds a Bachelor's degree in Dance from the University of the Arts and is pursuing a Master's degree in Arts, Entertainment, and Media Management at American University.
