Gimena Sanchez-Garzoli has extensive experience in policy analysis and advocacy with a focus on Latin America. Currently serving as the Director for the Andes at the Washington Office on Latin America (WOLA) since September 2017, Sanchez-Garzoli has held various roles within WOLA since 2005, including Senior Associate for Colombia and prior to that, Senior Associate for Colombia and Haiti. Additionally, Sanchez-Garzoli worked as the US Representative for Peace Brigades International from 2004 to 2006 and as a Senior Research Analyst at The Brookings Institution from 1999 to 2004. Sanchez-Garzoli holds a Master's degree in International Economics from The Johns Hopkins University and a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science from Columbia University.
