Damien Marais is an experienced theatre manager and leader in early childhood services, currently serving as Theatre Manager at ACT Education Directorate since October 2013, overseeing operations and client relations. Damien also holds a dual role as Assistant Theatre Manager and Theatre Technician at Woden Community Service, while managing Out of School Hours Care and Children's Services Enrolments. Previously, Damien gained experience in various capacities within organizations such as Kmart Australia Limited, Sherpa Kids Australia, YMCA Canberra Region, and Communities@Work, focusing on program management, compliance, and customer service. Damien holds multiple diplomas, including a Diploma of Leadership and Management, a Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care, and a Certificate II in Production For Live Theatre and Events, signifying a strong educational foundation tailored to both theatre and children's services.
