Maggie McEvilly has a diverse work experience in the communications and media industries. Maggie began their career in 2014 as a staff writer for The Daily Campus, and later served as a copy editor and digital editor for the same publication. In 2016, they interned for the Worcester Telegram & Gazette and the UConn Department of Educational Leadership (EDLR). That same year, they also served as a sports intern for WHDH-TV Boston. In 2018, McEvilly held two positions simultaneously; a baseball communications intern for UConn Athletics, and a strategic communications graduate assistant for Tulane University Athletics. Here, they managed all media relations and communications efforts, and composed feature stories on TulaneGreenWave.com. In 2021, they took on the role of Marketing Manager for Shamrock Sports & Entertainment, and is currently a Manager of Partner Solutions for WMT.
Maggie McEvilly has a varied educational background. Maggie graduated from Leominster High School in 2014 with a High School Diploma. Maggie then attended the University of Connecticut, where they completed a dual degree in Journalism and Sport Management. In 2016, they attended the International Studies Institute Florence, but did not receive a degree. Finally, they are currently pursuing a Master of Business Administration - MBA from Tulane University - A.B. Freeman School of Business, with a focus in Business Administration and Management, General.
