David Rafailovich-Sokolov has a diverse work experience in the entertainment and media industry. In 2015, they served as the Editor in Chief for The Odyssey Online, where they managed a team of writers and delegated journalistic assignments. David also worked as a Producing Intern at Keep In News, a documentary production company specializing in French news segments. In this role, they supported producers by conducting research, developing pitch materials, and organizing production paperwork.
In 2017, David gained experience as an Office Production Assistant for Seth Herzog's The SWEET Show, where they assisted the warm-up comedian Seth Herzog during live comedy performances. David managed communications, schedules, and logistics to book top talent, and also coordinated meetings and assisted in the internal development of an HBO TV special.
David then joined ILT Productions as a Script Reader/Creative Development Intern. In this role, they wrote script coverage for over a hundred scripts and supported the casting team during audition sessions and table read-throughs.
Starting in 2018, David worked as an Office Production Assistant, assisting producers on commercials for various brands including Dodge Ram, Bumble, and Vuse. David handled a high volume of calls, liaised between vendors and crews, organized production paperwork, and maintained confidential contracts.
From 2018 to 2022, David worked as a Producer/Production Coordinator for Dan Winters Photography. Their responsibilities included managing recent credits for photo shoots, promotional campaigns, and album art for clients such as Entertainment Weekly, Netflix, National Geographic, and General Motors.
Currently, David is employed at WME (William Morris Endeavor) as an Assistant to the Co-Head of the Literary Packaging Department. David began their role in October 2022 and is responsible for providing support and assistance to the department's co-head.
David Rafailovich-Sokolov earned a Bachelor's degree in Radio, Television, and Digital Communication from The University of Texas at Austin, where they studied from 2018 to 2020. Prior to that, they attended Queens College from 2015 to 2018, where they studied Media Studies & Literature.
