Ted Holkestad has extensive experience in mental health and social services, with a focus on supporting individuals facing various challenges. Since November 2003, Ted has worked as a Mental Health Worker at Motivation Power and Achievement, assisting those with mental health barriers. Concurrently, since May 2005, Ted has served as a Relief Child Care Worker at WJS Canada, helping youth in residential settings. Previous roles include a Counsellor at Watari Counselling & Support, delivering programs for substance misuse, and Individual and Family Counsellor at PLEA Community Services Society of BC, primarily working with youth with concurrent disorders. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Social Work from Thompson Rivers University, a Bachelor of Education from The University of British Columbia, and various degrees in psychology and language from multiple institutions.
