Reid Wittliff is a seasoned legal professional with a diverse background in technology, digital media, and cyber law. As a Partner at Wittliff | Cutter PLLC since August 2013, Reid focuses on aiding technology and digital media companies in navigating competitive landscapes. Additionally, as President of R3 Digital Forensics since September 2008, expertise is leveraged in digital forensics to enhance investigative processes for clients. Reid has held significant positions, including Partner at Lancaster, Helling, Grable & Wittliff, LLP, Shareholder at Graves Dougherty Hearon & Moody, and Division Chief of the Internet Bureau at the Texas Attorney General’s Office, where foundational work was done in establishing a state-wide computer crime unit. Reid's extensive experience includes prosecuting cyber crimes as an Assistant United States Attorney and serving as an Associate in civil litigation. Educational credentials include a Juris Doctor from The University of Texas School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology from Vanderbilt University.
