Farzanah Laher currently serves as the Head of Divisional Operations and previously held the position of Clinic Operations Manager at the Wits VIDA Research Unit since November 2022. With a diverse background at the Wits Health Consortium since October 2010, roles have included Clinical Trial Coordinator and Dentist, along with involvement in management development and clinical research. Farzanah has also acted as a Joint Researcher in the Division of Haemostasis and Thrombosis at the University of the Witwatersrand since March 2019 and served as Program Manager at the Wits VIDA Research Unit from June 2021 to June 2022. Academic qualifications include a Bachelor of Dental Science from Wits University and a Diploma in Human Resource Management from Damelin, alongside ongoing studies for a Master of Science in Molecular Medicine at the University of the Witwatersrand.
