Barbara Bateman has a diverse and extensive work experience. Barbara began their career at IBM in 1988 as a Manager in Global Network Business Strategy & Planning, focusing on eBusiness Products. Barbara then joined ADVANTIS, an IBM/Sears Joint Venture, as Director of Network Services from 1994 to 1998. Barbara returned to IBM as Director for Marketing and Business Planning in the Americas from 1998 to 1999. Barbara then worked at AT&T as Vice President for Product Marketing, Market Research, and Marketing Process/Measurements from 1999 to 2003. Barbara later joined Keller Williams as Managing Partner for their High-performance team from 2004 to 2010. Barbara then moved on to MosaicaPartners, a health information strategy and exchange management consulting firm, as VP for Market Intelligence and Executive Consultant from 2010 to 2014. Barbara served on the Board of Directors for the Tampa Bay Executive Forum (TBEF) from 2009 to 2015. Currently, they are the Director for Corporate Strategic Network Initiatives at WITI (Women in Technology International) and has also been part of the Board of Directors for the WITI Tampa division, focusing on Business Strategy, Operations, and Marketing from 2015 to 2017. In 2018, Barbara transitioned to their role as Director for Corporate Strategic Network Initiatives.
Barbara Bateman has a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics Education from Florida State University. Additionally, they have a Healthcare Informatics Certificate from St. Petersburg College. Furthermore, they hold an Entrepreneurship & Innovation Certificate from the University of Florida.
