Samuel Laurén has a diverse work experience, starting with an internship at Anders Innovations in 2011, where they contributed to the development of e-commerce services. Samuel then worked at the Turun yliopisto - University of Turku, first as an intern, where they developed an experimental system for introducing artificial diversity into systems, and later as a research assistant, working on various research projects related to diversification, obfuscation, static binary analysis, containers, application sandboxing, and trusted computing. After that, they joined F-Secure Corporation as a Senior Developer, and later became a Lead Developer, responsible for leading development projects. Their current position is also a Lead Developer at WithSecure, starting in 2022.

Samuel Laurén earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from the University of Turku in the years 2010 to 2014. Samuel then pursued further studies in the same field at the University of Turku, obtaining a Master of Science degree from 2014 to 2017.
