Aline Criton has a significant amount of experience in the medical technology industry. Aline is currently serving as the Chief Clinical and Regulatory Affairs Officer at Withings since January 2023. Prior to this role, they held the same position at Mauna Kea Technologies from January 2020 to December 2022. During their time at Mauna Kea Technologies, Aline was responsible for leading the long-term clinical and regulatory strategy, overseeing clinical programs and trials, and collaborating with various departments to support claims and regulatory filings. Before joining Mauna Kea Technologies, they worked as a Senior Scientist and R&D Ultrasound Director at SuperSonic Imagine from September 2006 to August 2016. At SuperSonic Imagine, they led the Ultrasound Department, managed a team of engineers, and played a key role in engineering clinical trials, evaluations, and regulatory affairs. Aline also gained valuable experience at Philips Healthcare and ATL (now Philips Medical), where they worked as an Ultrasound System Engineer and Ultrasound Engineer, respectively. Aline contributed to the development and implementation of innovative imaging modes, conducted research, and received recognition for their work. Aline began their career as a Graduate Research Assistant at ATL-UK, where they focused on the clinical development and validation of Tissue Doppler Imaging. Overall, Aline Criton brings extensive knowledge and expertise in clinical and regulatory affairs, as well as a strong background in ultrasound technology, to their current position.
Aline Criton holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Medical Physics from The University of Edinburgh (2000-2005). Prior to that, they completed a Master's degree in Medical Image Processing at Université de Technologie de Compiègne (UTC) (1994-1995) and a Master's Degree in Physics from Ecole Centrale de Marseille (1991-1994).
