Lindsey Slater is a seasoned meteorologist currently serving as the Morning Meteorologist at WISN 12 News since June 2016, having previously held the position of Weekend Evening Meteorologist at the same station. Prior experience includes serving as the Morning/Midday Meteorologist at KSPR 33 News, where responsibilities extended to producing webcasts and hosting health segments. Lindsey also co-hosted Jackson's only local morning show, Fox 40 A.M., and prepared forecasts for a broad viewing area during their tenure as Morning Meteorologist at FOX 40 WDBD-TV. Early career experiences include internships at Weather Central, WKOW TV Channel 27, and the NOAA National Weather Service, coupled with a background in environmental science and broadcast meteorology from Carroll University and Mississippi State University.
