Akash Kannegulla, Ph.D. has a diverse work experience. From 2013 to 2014, they were a Research Intern at the University of Notre Dame in Nano-Photonics. From 2014 to 2017, they were a Graduate Teaching Assistant and Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) at Oregon State University in Nano-Photonics. During this time, they developed MicroLEDs, ultrasensitive DNA sensing, and new metamaterials. In 2017, they were a Process Engineering Intern at Lam Research. From 2018 to 2019, they were Founder & C.E.O and Founder/CTO/CEO at Wisedoc, Inc., where they created a cloud based software for the research community. In 2019, they were a Tech Transfer Program Manager and Process Integration Engineer at Intel Corporation, where they were responsible for transferring high yielding technology and designing software for streamlining technology transfer.
Akash Kannegulla, Ph.D. completed their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Nanotechnology from Oregon State University between 2014 and 2018. Prior to this, they completed a Nano Undergraduate Research Fellowship at the University of Notre Dame in 2013. Akash also held a Research Fellowship at the University of Notre Dame.
