Michael Taft is an experienced meditation teacher and CEO with a diverse background in publishing and mindfulness coaching. Since January 2007, Michael has been self-employed as a meditation teacher, additionally serving as a mindfulness meditation coach, providing guidance to individuals and groups. Michael has been the CEO of Celphalopod Rex since December 2008, overseeing the operations of a publishing company. Michael has also worked as an independent contractor for Wisdom Labs, Inc. since 2015 and previously held the role of Editor in Chief at Being Human from August 2011 to June 2014, where management of a large website and community was pivotal. Prior experience includes serving as Editorial Director at Sounds True from January 1993 to July 2000, where Michael directed editorial operations, supervised creative staff, and developed numerous published works. Michael holds a BS in German Language and Literature from Michigan State University and a high school diploma from Waverly High School.
