Liam Ross is currently an Advanced Engineering Co-Op at Husco, responsible for maintaining and optimizing proprietary DAQ/control software as well as designing the first production-intent rotary actuator. As a Chassis/Controls Engineer for Wisconsin Racing, Liam has focused on redesigning control arm clevises to enhance weight reduction and bolt force distribution, successfully undergoing multiple design reviews. Previously, during an internship at The Ohio State University, Liam analyzed data to establish a connection between polycaprolactone fiber orientation and other electrospinning process variables, while also developing a method for colorizing scanning electron microscopy images based on fiber orientation. Liam is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, expected to graduate in May 2026.
