Maruthi Mallepalli has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Maruthi has extensive experience in the energy distribution sector, having worked at Enugu Electricity Distribution Company as the Chief Operating Officer from February 2018 to November 2022. Prior to this, they served as the Head of Technical Services at the same company from September 2017 to January 2018.

Maruthi also worked at Feedback Energy Distribution Company Limited as the Chief Technical Officer from May 2015 to August 2017. In this role, they played a crucial part in developing the core of the distribution utility company, including comprehensive billing software and mobile apps to improve customer service delivery.

Before joining Feedback Energy Distribution Company Limited, Maruthi held the position of Head of Special Projects at FEDCO from March 2013 to April 2015. Maruthi also worked as a Principal Consultant at Feedback Infra from September 2011 to February 2013 and as an Assistant Vice President at A2Z Group from October 2010 to September 2011.

Maruthi started their career at Techlabs in 2002, where they held various roles including Manager-Technical from May 2005 to November 2010 and Project Engineer from October 2002 to May 2005.

Currently, Maruthi Mallepalli is the Regional Head (Business Development - Smart metering) - MEA at Wirepas, starting from May 2023.

Maruthi Mallepalli completed the Executive General Management Program in Business Administration and Management, General from the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore in 2023-2024. Prior to that, they pursued an M.Tech degree in Power System from the Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee during the period of 2000-2002.
