Ishira Liyanage has a diverse work experience spanning across multiple industries and roles. In 2015, they completed an internship at CEYLON TOBACCO COMPANY PLC. Ishira then worked as an Undergraduate Research Assistant and later as an Undergraduate Researcher at Bangkok University from 2016 to 2017. Ishira then served as an Instructor at SLIIT from 2017 to 2018. In 2019, they gained further experience as a Summer Intern at Trussmatic. Ishira then worked as a Research Assistant at Tampere University from 2020 to 2021. Currently, they hold the position of Test Automation Engineer at Wirepas since March 2021.

Ishira Liyanage completed their education history as follows:

From 2018 to 2020, they attended Tampere University where they pursued a Master of Science in Automation Engineering, specializing in Factory Automation and Robotics.

Prior to that, from 2013 to 2017, Ishira studied at the Asian Institute of Technology, where they earned their Bachelor of Science in Engineering (BSc Eng) degree. Ishira'sfield of study was Mechatronics Engineering.

Before entering university, Ishira attended Lyceum International School, Nugegoda from 2001 to 2013. Here, they completed their CIE GCE Advanced Level, with a focus on Science.
