Varitra Foundation is a grassroots-based nonprofit established in January 2018 as a Section-8 Company, focusing on rural education, gender development, and youth leadership. The co-founding team, consisting of Ayeshna, Baljeet, and Narendrayash, has actively engaged in various fellowships, including the Wipro Seed Fellowship (2019-2022) and the Edumentum Fellowship (2019), aimed at enhancing systemic education transformation in India. Ayeshna Kalyan has been recognized as a co-founding member of the Women In Indian Social Entrepreneurship Network by Amani Institute and graduated from the G. P Birla Fellowship for Women Leaders in 2019. Additionally, the team participated in the Changelooms Fellowship and has developed meaningful contributions to Indian school education through collaborations with prominent organizations. The educational background includes degrees from Tata Institute of Social Sciences and St. Xavier's College, emphasizing social work and development communication expertise.
