Pete Mbogo is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in internal audit management, currently serving as the Senior Director of Internal Audit at Winrock International since March 2019. In this role, Pete leads the Internal Audit program, develops strategic work plans, and enhances corporate strategy. Previously, Pete held various positions in internal audit at the International Rescue Committee and EY, focusing on risk assessment, compliance, and operational efficiency. Pete's educational background includes an MBA in Finance from the University of Nairobi and certifications as a Certified Internal Auditor and Certified Fraud Examiner, alongside a Diplôme de Français Professionnel in Business and a CPA qualification.
