Frederik Van Dessel has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Frederik co-founded Winning Foods in 2021, focusing on reducing food loss and promoting plant-based diets. Prior to that, they were the Head of Sales at Too Good To Go Belgium from 2019 to 2020, where they managed and developed the local sales team. Frederik also worked at Deliveroo, starting as an Operations Associate in 2016 and eventually becoming the Head of Operations, where they successfully led the team through challenging periods and implemented operational improvements. At The Rights, they co-founded the company and was responsible for marketing activities and public relations in the music industry. Frederik also had an internship at CO2logic, where they supported the team in calculating carbon footprints and preparing reports for clients.

Frederik Van Dessel holds a Postgraduate degree in Energy & Climate from the University of Antwerp, which they obtained from 2014 to 2015. Prior to that, they completed their Master of Science (MS) in Business Administration and Management, with a specialization in Finance, from the same university, graduating between 2008 and 2013. In addition to their academic accomplishments, Frederik also obtained a certification in Google Adwords from Google in February 2015.
