Jennifer Legaspi has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Starting in 2012, they worked as an Undergraduate Tutor and Tour Guide at Worcester Polytechnic Institute. In 2013, they became a Belay Staff at Central Rock Climbing Gym. In 2014, they were an Applications and Design Intern at ON Semiconductor and a Route Setter at Rock Spot Climbing Gym. From 2014 to 2015, Jennifer returned to Worcester Polytechnic Institute as a Teaching Assistant.
In 2015, they joined ON Semiconductor as an Applications and Design Intern before transitioning to the roles of Applications Engineer and Verification Engineer. Jennifer later joined Central Rock Gym as a Part Time Setter in 2019.
In 2019, Jennifer became a Research Assistant at Worcester Polytechnic Institute, where they researched healthcare policy modeling and optimization. Jennifer also had a temporary role as a Temporary Staff member during this time. From 2019 to 2020, they worked as a Systems Engineering Intern at University Space Research Association, where they interned with NASA's ExMC team and co-authored a paper for the IEEE Aerospace 2021 conference.
Most recently, Jennifer joined Wingbrace in 2020 as a Senior Systems Engineer, and later transitioned to the role of Senior Software Engineer in 2021.
Jennifer Legaspi's education history begins with their enrollment at Jamesville DeWitt High School from 2006 to 2010, where they obtained an Advanced Regents Diploma. Jennifer then pursued their undergraduate studies at Worcester Polytechnic Institute from 2010 to 2014 and earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering.
After completing their bachelor's degree, Jennifer continued their education at Worcester Polytechnic Institute from 2014 to 2016. During this time, they earned a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering.
Jennifer's academic journey further advanced as they pursued a higher level of education at Worcester Polytechnic Institute. Jennifer commenced their enrollment in 2019 and is expected to complete their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Systems Engineering in 2023.
In addition to their formal education, Jennifer has also obtained several certifications. Jennifer became an Associate Systems Engineering Professional (ASEP) through INCOSE in December 2019. Jennifer also received a certification in SystemVerilog for Verification from Mentor Graphics in December 2016. Furthermore, they acquired certifications in Wilderness First Aid from SOLO Wilderness Medical School in December 2022, as well as CPR, AED, and Basic First Aid from the Health & Safety Institute (HSI) in March 2016. Finally, Jennifer obtained a CPR/AED certification from the American Heart Association and American Stroke Association in December 2014.
