Peter Meltzer

Peter Meltzer has extensive experience in the culinary and publishing industries, serving as an Auction Correspondent at M. Shanken Communications since 1982. Previously, Peter was the Publisher and Editor-in-Chief for Passport to New York Restaurants from 1986 to 2001, where Peter oversaw New York's only pocket-size professionally written restaurant guide. Additionally, Peter held the position of Wine Editor at Food and Wine Magazine from 1977 to 1980. Academic credentials include a Master of Arts in History with a French minor from the University of Toronto, and an Honors Bachelor of Arts in History with a French minor from Trinity College, Toronto. Peter's foundational education was completed at Upper Canada College.
