Dave Gerner is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in innovation and technology management, primarily in the wine and sustainability sectors. Currently serving as Program Manager for Regional Innovation at Wine Australia since October 2020, Dave previously held the role of Innovation Manager at the City of Adelaide from September 2019 to October 2020. Prior to that, Dave was the Innovation and Technology Manager at Treasury Wine Estates and has a background as a GIS Specialist. Earlier career roles include Director at Avante Mapping Solutions and Spatial Account Manager at Tonkin Consulting. Dave began professional endeavors as a Spatial Researcher at the University of Adelaide after earning a degree in Environmental Management with a focus on GIS from the same institution.
