Matt Carlini has a diverse work experience in finance and accounting roles. Starting in 2003, they worked as a Senior/Staff Accountant at KPMG Canada until 2005. Matt then moved on to Lear Corporation, where they served as an Accounting Supervisor from 2005 to 2007. In 2007, Matt joined Enwin Utilities as a Corporate Controller until 2010. From 2010 to 2017, they worked as the Manager of Financial Reporting at Green Shield Canada. In 2017, they transitioned to ENWIN Utilities as the Director of Finance, and later became the Vice President Corporate Services and Chief Financial Officer until 2024. Matt also held the role of Treasurer at the Windsor/Essex County Humane Society from 2021 onwards and served as a Board Member at The MEARIE Group starting in 2022. Matt also has experience as a Sessional Instructor at the University of Windsor, beginning in 2007.
Matt Carlini earned a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) degree in Accounting from the University of Windsor in 1999. Matt then pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Business at the University of Michigan-Dearborn from 2005 to 2007. In addition to their degrees, they obtained the Chartered Professional Accountant certification from Chartered Professional Accountants of Canada (CPA Canada) in 1999 and the Chartered Director certification from McMaster University in 2022.
