Anthony W. has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of regulatory affairs and quality. Anthony most recently served as the Vice President of Regulatory Affairs and Quality at Windgap Medical, Inc. as well as a Guest Lecturer on Medical Device Regulatory Affairs at Northeastern University. Prior to that, Anthony held the position of Vice President of Regulatory Affairs & Quality at Pear Therapeutics.
From 2015 to 2021, Anthony worked at Sanofi, where they served as the Head of Regulatory Affairs for Devices and Associate Vice President. In this role, they led a global team, developed regulatory strategies, and represented Sanofi in various industry groups and standards development organizations.
Before joining Sanofi, Anthony worked at Biogen Idec, Inc. as the Director of Regulatory Affairs for Combination Products. Anthony also has experience in the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA), where they held multiple leadership positions, including Director of the Division of Anesthesiology, General Hospital, Infection Control, and Dental Devices and Chief of the General Hospital Devices Branch.
Anthony began their professional career in the United States Navy, serving as a Surface Warfare Officer on a guided missile cruiser, where they held various leadership roles.
Anthony W. completed their education with a Bachelor of Science (BS) in General Engineering from the United States Naval Academy. This was from 1986 to 1990. Later, they pursued a Master of Science (MS) in Management Information Systems from the University of Maryland Global Campus from 1999 to 2004. Lastly, Anthony W. obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on Business from the University of Maryland Global Campus from 2004 to 2005.
