John Kelly began their work experience as a Premier Account Manager at Granite Telecommunications in February 2007 and worked there until March 2009. Following this, they worked as a Customer Account Executive at Charles River Apparel from August 2009 to March 2015. From May 2015 to October 2016, they served as a Sales Consultant at Technical Support International, an IT Support and Network Integration Firm. In January 2017, they joined Herb Chambers Lincoln as a Business Development Consultant. John then worked as a Customer Service Representative at Wind River Environmental from April 2018 to the present. Most recently, they became a Sales Executive at Prize Possessions in September 2019.

John Kelly attended Bishop Feehan High School from 1996 to 2000, where they obtained a degree in General Studies. After completing high school, they enrolled at the University of Massachusetts Amherst, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in History.
