Fakhrriyyah Hashim is currently an Account Executive at Wimbart. Prior to this, they were a Business Portfolio and Partnerships Manager at Beni American University from August 2018 to March 2019. There, they were responsible for business development consultancy for an Education tech company and developing research based partnerships with Universities across the world on how to do business in Africa.
Before their time at Beni American University, Hashim worked as a sales and customer service representative and finance assistant at netaq e-solutions from August 2015 to December 2015. In this role, they were responsible for handling customer inquiries, processing orders, and providing support to the finance team.
Hashim also has experience working in the non-profit sector. From March 2019 to December 2020, they were a Team Lead at Mayafi Initiative, where they worked on improving response mechanisms to Gender based violence across Nigeria. Fakhrriyyah also led advocacy campaigns like #ArewaMeToo and #NorthNormal to exasperate public discourse on sexual and gender based violence in Northern Nigeria. Prior to this, they were a Delivery Assistant at the Office of the Vice President of Nigeria from July 2017 to July 2018 and a Project Coordinator at Girl Child Concerns (GCC) from March 2016 to July 2017.
In November 2013, Hashim worked as a customer service representative for the Formula 1 Grand Prix Abu Dhabi. In this role, they provided excellent customer service to guests attending the event.
Fakhrriyyah Hashim has a Master of Science in Emerging Economies and Inclusive Development from King's College London and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance, General from Abu Dhabi University.
